Galgotias University marked its excellence in academics by being awarded by the Honorable Union Minister Shri Rajnath Singh at the national make in India Conclave.

The function was attended by many senior and eminent personalities, the Galgotias University received honor for contributing to the spirit of the make in India initiative through the development of world class skilled manpower for India. Shri Rajnath Singh appreciated the Galgotias University by highlighting that the manufacturing sector is going to be strengthened in order to trigger massive employment generation.

Suneel Galgotia appreciated the Galgotias University’s expertise in knowledge creation shown through its cutting edge programs in emerging technologies through alliances with industry leaders like IBM and with leading universities of the world such as Purdue University, University of Maryland, and Goethe University etc. Suneel Galgotia further added record breaking placement of Galgotia University’s students over 120 IT companies every year was mainly due to the high quality infrastructure created specifically to bridge the skills gap being experienced by industry.

Record breaking placements have again contributed to Galgotias University excellence as over 85% of CS students at IBM-partnered computer science programs at Galgotias University were placed in Round-1 placements with tech-giants Cognizant, Infosys & Wipro.
