G Quasar Outshines All/ G Quasar Shines Swanky Across the Country

G Quasar: Angels & Demons:Quasars are brightly illuminated objects, perhaps a hundred times more bright than the Milky Way! And we call our fest G Quasar and we call it right. Our fest is the largest Indian fest with the biggest celebrities singing and dancing under a starry and illuminated night. G Quasar’14 was vivaciously victorious owing to the efforts of Galgotians who worked day and night to make it North India’s grandest celebration. More than 80 universities have been a part of G Quasar’14 and participated in extremely competitive competitions like Contradanse, Scintillations, Jazba, Naya, and Beat Alone. The fest was utterly true to its name, illuminating with talent and studded with skill. The two bright stars of the evening were Nambardar and Sunidhi Chauhan who electrified the evening with their repository of ragas and suras. The fest also exhibited the extravagant range of Harley Davidson bikes. Bestowed with the energies of angels and demons alike, the fest became a personification of the spirit of a heightened sense of living. NIRMAAN GALGOTIAS YOUTH PARLIAMENT:A National Youth Parliament was marshaled by Galgotias University in which 25 national universities enrolled. Students’ enthusiasm and hard work was vastly appreciated by media and even by Tourism Minister of State, Dr. Mahesh Sharma. The parliament was an initiative of Abhishek Agarwal, a student of Galgotias University. Today’s youth is the future of our country and the parliament upheld a personification of this truth.AVALANCHE 2.0Galgotias University organized the second edition of the well-known idea-pooling event Avalanche. The event was an initiative of Avadesh Sisodia and IEEE club. It saw participation from over 20 colleges across India.  Students’ motivation for the event was exceptional and was further garnered by giving away awards and prizes to them.

Student Council is Our Stepping Stone to Success

The Student Council is a depiction of the most responsible, talented and to-be- leaders of the future. Galgotias Student Council is also a synod of such students who take good care of the cultural activities of the campus. From being the thread of communication between the management and students to organizing G Quasar (Annual Fest), the council of the select few looks after a whole range of responsibilities.

Student Council stands for the students of the university. They are allegories of their needs, wants and aspirations. By voicing them out and paving way for their realization, they are essential for students’ growth. By serving as the medium between Students, Professors and Management, they are crucial to a well established network of communication.

They also hold the responsibility for prearranging Cultural Celebrations and Occasions. They, themselves being an assorted group of students belonging to varied courses, bestow the events with an international hybridism of cultures and religions. The Annual Fest, G Quasar, is also marshaled by them and its success owes to the meticulousness of the council.
